McCormick's Television Service was founded in 1960 when there were only two color television sets in Fernandina Beach. At that time, introducing people to color TV viewing started with only 29 hours a week of color broadcasts! The onset of VCRs and video cameras brought about new needs for electronics service. Then came the satellite craze of the '80s, and since then we have installed over 900 C-band and over 4700 DirecTV and Dish Network systems for customers in Camden, Duval, and Nassau counties.
As technology has changed through the years many service centers have closed their doors, unable to keep up. We have always provided a modern, up-to-date service center at a reasonable cost to our customers.
Our business has been built on word-of-mouth. We know that no company can satisfy all people all the time, and some do try our competitors at times, but we are fortunate that customer loyalty and care have been our mainstay for decades.
